There are many improper and even illegal pesticide applications going on around the country. We need to be aware of two main issues. First, how to control pests inside and outside without using toxic pesticides as well as weeds without using toxic herbicides. Secondly, many pesticides are improperly applied in homes and around homes and these could lead to legal action in some cases. Right now, we call the organizations that regulate pesticide applicators, and in most cases, it involves a slap on the wrist and nothing changes. Pesticides and herbicides are hazardous and need to be applied properly, if at all, and if not, then legal action should be taken.
Here is what I will do. If you join my Bug Club, I will do everything I can to help you control pests without using toxic pesticides. Why spray your home with pesticides for cockroaches, when you can control them with beer and duct tape? I will send you a handbook via email that explains all of this and I have several other handbooks you can also have if you want them. I will also help anyone in your immediate family with their pest issues. If you have had any issues that may be considered dangerous and may be illegal, I will help you with that to by doing research on what was done, pesticide or herbicide used, and other factors and then I may recommend legal action depending on the circumstances. Pesticide companies that apply pesticides illegally need to be taken to court. This also applies to termite control. In New Mexico, a large number of termite jobs are done improperly and illegally as the termiticide label is not properly followed, which is a violation of the law. If you had any termite work done I can help you determine if it was done properly or not, and in many cases, it will have not been done properly.
Of course, I help anyone that asks a pest question that isn’t in the Bug Club and I always will, but if you are a member, I would have no problem researching issues and going into detail on how to do your own pest control. Membership is $25 and that is for life. You can join my Bug Club on my website at www.askthebugman.com. If you have any questions you can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Let’s stop the improper and hazardous pesticide applications and basically get away from using them in your home. I will help you to the best of my ability.
