Worldwide pest management consultations

Centipedes, cockroaches, booklice, earwigs, and silverfish can be repelled, by placing several drops of peppermint or eucalyptus essential oil in areas that collect moisture, such as damp basements, garages, and cabinets where there are plumbing fixtures. If you have black widows or other spiders in areas you don’t want them, you can spray the area with peppermint essential oil. That will prevent spiders from returning to these areas.

You can kill any bug in your house with a mixture of water (40%), alcohol (40%) and dish soap (20%). No need to use pesticides inside your home or business.

Fungus gnats in your house plants? Just let the plants dry out almost to the point of wilting before rewatering. Fungus gnats breed in damp potting soil. Then put an inch or so of aquarium gravel on the potting soil to prevent any more gnats from having access to the soil to breed. Pesticides are not necessary for fungus gnats.

There are many more non-toxic pest management methods that are safe and effective and I frequently post information on Facebook and I always will.

Spring is coming and some pests will be active.  There is no reason to use toxic pesticides in or around your home or business to control pests. My mission in life is to help reduce and, hopefully, eliminate pesticides in society.  I will help anyone with pest issues for the rest of my life and that includes anyone in your family, whether they live with you or someplace else.  I have seven handbooks on various issues, and I will send you any that are relevant to your pest issues.  The handbooks cover non-toxic pest management in homes, in commercial establishments, in schools and in apartment complexes.  Also, handbooks on lawn and garden pest management and weed control and one on termite control that is important for homeowners and realtors as a lot of professional termite work is done improperly (illegally).  I will identify any pests you have to the best of my ability.  I have been dealing with pest issues for over 40 years and I was the IPM Manager for the City of Santa Fe and the IPM Specialist for the University of New Mexico.  I also taught some entomology classes at UNM. I know the hazards of pesticides and they should never be used except in an emergency and those emergencies are very rare.

If you are interested in my non-toxic pest management consultations, via email or phone, and want to join the “bug club”, contact me at askthebugman2013@gmail.com.  Lifetime membership fee is $30. That is a one-time fee only. This offer is open to anyone in the world.

About askthebugman

I have been in the pest management industry for over 40 years. In that time I have used almost every pesticide available to control so-called “pests”. With this experience, I have learned over the years that the pesticides we use are far more dangerous than the pests we are trying to control. As a result, it has become a passion for me to improve the quality of life for humans and the planet, by assisting people to not only become more educated and aware of their environment – but also by learning to manage their home and business with a sustainable and healthier approach to tending to unwanted infestations of bugs. Please enjoy my blog posts, check out my publications, utilize my services, or simply stay in touch if you have a bug question…
